The University of Reading Department of Meteorology needs a postdoctoral
research associate to work on the climate impact of atmospheric aerosols,
providing planning and scientific leadership for aircraft based field
campaigns, analysing field data and using radiative transfer models to
estimate radiative forcing due to aerosols.

Working with in-situ aerosol data and radiative transfer codes, associates
will become part of the Aerosol group in the Department of Meteorology,
whose work also includes climate modelling.

The payscale is £24,402 to £28,290 per annum. The position is a fixed term
appointment for up to 31 months, depending on starting salary.

The applicant should be a high quality scientist with a PhD and ideally have
some experience in aerosol science and fieldwork.
