The Toyota Foundation offers research grant program awarded to individuals or to individuals on behalf of a group, and not to organizations. There are Research Grants and Special Subject Grants.
Research Grants

Maximum 20 million yen per project (in the case of 2-year projects)
Total budget: 150 million yen
Project period: 1 or 2 years, beginning Nov. 1, 2007
Application languages: Japanese, English
